Our photography coverage began with the bride and groom mingling with guests outside Edinburgh City Chambers’s wedding venue.

Melanie looked sensational in a modern, slim-fitting gown by designer Alex Perry and groom Joel looked smart but relaxed in a navy suit.

Melanie and Joel were married in a simple and intimate civil ceremony.

Led by the registrar and joined by a close gathering of family and friends, Melanie and Joel exchanged their vows, making their love and commitment official.

After their marriage ceremony, we took group photos of the newlyweds with their guests.

We enjoyed taking Melanie and Joel on their newlywed photoshoot around Edinburgh’s historic and picturesque Old Town.

There are many locations and important landmarks close to the wedding venue where we shot beautiful photos, capturing sweet moments of the newlyweds’ love and connection.

The happy couple celebrated their marriage with a small group of loved ones with a wonderful Timberyard wedding reception, a Michelin-starred family-run restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh.

Timberyard, a 19th-century warehouse, combined with Michelin-starred cuisine, created a unique and romantic atmosphere that offered rustic charm that perfectly complemented Melanie and Joel’s celebration.

The happy couple mingled with guests as they enjoyed a champagne drinks reception outside before enjoying a beautifully presented and delicious meal that delighted the senses, making a truly memorable dining experience.
