What an honour to be Carlowrie Castle wedding videographers again, this time with our wonderful bride and groom, Amrita and Ryan. This gorgeous couple tied the knot with a stunning spring wedding at Carlowrie Castle.
Carlowrie Castle is a fabulous exclusive-use wedding venue on the outskirts of Edinburgh. This castle oozes style, sophistication and luxury and is a place where dream weddings really do come true!
It was great to be back at Carlowrie Castle on such a glorious day! The sky was bright blue, with not a cloud to be seen.
Arriving at the venue, we filmed the final stages of the bridal preparations. Amrita, such a beautiful bride, was excited and a joy to be around.
She looked sensational in her traditional Indian bridal wear, a fabulous maroon coloured dress by Bibi London. Hair styled her hair by Nida and bridal make-up by Humera Tayyub.
After bridal preparations, Claire captured candid footage of guests arriving at Carlowrie Castle as they mingled and enjoyed a glass of prosecco.
Jonathon teamed up with groomsman Ryan and the boys, who all looked smart in their full Scottish kilt outfits. Ryan and the boys were in great form as Jonathon caught film clips of them in front of the castle, sharing some laughs and having plenty of banter.
All ready for the wedding ceremony, The Orangery, a fabulous, versatile space, was filled with the most beautiful scent of fresh flowers, the aisle decorated with pink-toned rose petals, candles and a stunning floral arch, all by White House Flowers.
It was time! Guests stood in anticipation for the arrival of the bridal party. Amrita, arm in arm with her proud father, walked down the aisle to where Ryan was waiting.
They looked so happy and in love as they exchanged their wedding vows in a civil marriage ceremony in front of their dearest friends and family!
Guests made their way outside to the front of the castle for the magical confetti shower! We adore filming this part of the day, it’s so much fun! Everyone is so happy as they shower the newlyweds in the softest flurry of confetti.
Celebratory drinks and delicious canapes were served outside on the perfectly manicured, landscaped grounds of the castle.
Guests looked so happy as they relaxed in the sunshine with a glass of champagne. They were entertained by the fabulous Arta String Quartet, which added perfectly to the romantic ambience and surroundings.
We loved filming so many candid moments and relaxed footage of everyone having a wonderful time. Later in the day, we filmed our gorgeous newlyweds as they walked around the gardens of Carlowrie Castle.
After some heartfelt speeches from Amrita’s Dad, Ryan and his best men, guests dined on a delicious wedding breakfast.
Let’s get the party started! Evening celebrations got off to a fabulous start with the newlyweds’ romantic first dance, announced by DJ Lee Live. They held each other close and gazed lovingly into each other’s eyes as they danced to their special song.
We were sad to leave this great atmosphere, but so happy to have spent such a fabulous day filming all the love and joy of Amrita and Ryan’s stunning spring wedding at Carlowrie Castle.
