Mansfield Traquair Wedding Photographers – Gemma and Darren’s Photos
Here are some of our favourite photos from Gemma and Darren’s wonderful Mansfield Traquair wedding.
Bridal party preparations
Our morning started at the Hampton by Hilton Hotel for bridal preparations with our beautiful bride, Gemma. Gemma was joined by her two bridesmaids and her lovely Mum.
Claire took candid, relaxed photos of the girls getting glammed up for the special day.
The girls drank fizz and listened to music; the atmosphere was nice and relaxed as they got their hair styled and make-up applied.
Jonathon captured photos of Gemma’s stunning wedding dress, wedding shoes, bridal flowers and jewellery.
Gemma was so excited that morning. It was lovely to see.
This was Gemma and Darren’s wedding day and their daughter’s special day! Adorable two-year-old Bethany was having her official naming ceremony immediately after Mummy and Daddy said, ‘I do’.
Humanist ceremony
It was great to be back as wedding photographers at Mansfield Traquair again.
A genuinely stunning exclusive-use venue that packs a serious wow-factor punch!
Standing at the altar, Darren looked smart in his full kilt outfit with fly plaid by Slanj Kilts.
His anticipation and nerves were building just a touch as he eagerly awaited his beautiful bride’s arrival.
Oh, Gemma. What can we say about our beautiful bride?
She took everybody’s breath away. Tall and timelessly elegant, Gemma wore a wedding dress dreams are made of.
Designed by Justin Alexander, the long-sleeved, slim-fitting crepe dress featured a stunning beaded illusion back.
Our bride and groom chose a humanist wedding ceremony where they exchanged rings and publicly declared their love.
They literally ‘tied the knot’, a Celtic tradition binding their love and union together in the presence of their friends and family.
Then little Bethany had her special naming ceremony, and the crowd were beaming with love and happiness as she stole the show!
Drinks reception and newlywed photos
Claire captured candid photos of the wedding guests enjoying canapes and a champagne drinks reception.
Jonathon took the official group and family photos with the happy couple, followed by newlywed photos in and around Mansfield Traquair.
Evening celebration
After a delicious wedding breakfast, guests were treated to a fantastic surprise performance by Clanadonia, a Scottish tribal drums and pipe band.
What a tremendous start to the evening celebrations! They had everyone up and out of their seats as they raised the roof of Mansfield Traquair!
Guests gathered to watch our newlyweds cut their gorgeous four-tiered wedding cake by Ruby and Pearl Cake Art.
They shared their first dance as husband and wife, holding each other close as they sang along to their special song performed by the live band Sugarush.
