Megan and Merle, a beautiful couple from the USA, chose Scotland as the location for their destination wedding, and we were thrilled when asked to be their Neidpath Castle photographer.

It is majestically atop a verdant hill overlooking the tranquil River Tweed, surrounded by rolling hills and lush forest.

Our day as Neidpath Castle photographer began with groom Merle, who looked incredible in a kilt outfit and tartan plaid, embracing the Scottish tradition.

Genuinely one of the nicest guys, we had a great time catching shots of Merle with his closest gathering of family and friends outside the castle.

Standing at the altar, excitement and anticipation mingle with a flood of emotions as Merle sees Megan for the first time.

His heart swells with overwhelming love and admiration.

Megan is a vision of beauty as she walks down the aisle with her proud father.

This beautifully intimate ceremony celebrated their love, dreams, and a promise of a wonderful future together. It was such a joyful occasion and a delight to photograph.

After warm embraces of congratulations, we took the happy couple on their newlywed photoshoot, capturing the fresh, radiant joy of these beautiful souls, their smiles broad and eyes sparkling with happiness.

They hold hands, interlaced fingers, and gaze into each other’s eyes, lost in their shared bliss.
