Shooting Kevin, Ashley and their beautiful little girl Olivia’s pre-wedding photos was this lovely family’s opportunity to experience their first professional photo shoot. The pre-wedding photos session took place in Edinburgh’s Inverleith Park, to the north of Edinburgh city centre. I love this location for shooting pre-wedding photos.
Taking part in a professional photoshoot can be daunting at first. It’s not exactly natural to be standing in front of a photographer, often the first time you’ve met them, having your photo taken! For this reason, I include a pre-wedding photoshoot for free with some of my photography packages (also available to purchase with all other wedding photo packages). All of my couples come away from our time together feeling relaxed about having their photos taken on their wedding day.
Inverleith Park is great because it tends not to be too busy when I meet my couples for a photo session. There’s plenty of space, with beautiful tree-lined avenues and a great view across Edinburgh city centre with Edinburgh Castle in the background. A setting that any photographer in Edinburgh would relish.
Ashley, Kevin and their beautiful daughter Olivia were completely natural in front of the camera and helped to make my role very relaxed and enjoyable. We took a stroll through Inverleith Park and took advantage of the various avenues and vistas. It’s been great getting to know Keven and Ashley and I can’t wait for their wedding at Dundas Castle in a few weeks time.
