Cramond Kirk wedding photos
Below is a selection of our favourite photos we created for their special day.
Cramond Kirk, located in the charming village of Cramond in the northeast area of Edinburgh, has a rich history that dates back over 1,500 years, making it one of Scotland’s oldest places of worship.
The church stands on a site of spiritual significance, with records showing its establishment as early as the 6th century.
Over time, the Kirk has witnessed countless moments of Scottish history and remains a revered place for locals and visitors.
The church’s historic stone walls and traditional architecture offer a timeless backdrop for weddings, blending centuries of history with the magic of modern-day celebrations.
Cramond Kirk is an enchanting venue, especially for couples who want a blend of history, natural beauty, and romance.
Its serene location near the River Almond adds extra tranquillity to the atmosphere, creating a peaceful setting for your vows.
The interior of the Kirk is equally captivating, with its high vaulted ceilings, stunning stained-glass windows, and wooden pews that exude warmth and character.
The surrounding village and scenic riverside provide the perfect setting for wedding photos, offering picturesque views at every turn.
Whether you’re capturing the couple’s first kiss under the Kirk’s ancient archway or strolling along the riverbank, the charm of Cramond Kirk makes every shot look like a piece of art.
In the summer, the surrounding gardens come alive with colour, enhancing the beauty of your photos even further.
The combination of history, stunning architecture, and natural beauty makes Cramond Kirk a magical place to create memories that will last a lifetime.
Sarah was an absolute dream to photograph. She was a happy, beautiful bride-to-be beaming joyfully as we captured the latter part of her bridal preparations.
Over at the church, groom Stuart and his best man looked great in traditional kilt outfits.
They warmly greeted guests as Pipe Major Iain Grant played the rich, sonorous sound of the bagpipes, evoking a sense of tradition, honour, and celebration.
Accompanied down the aisle with her Dad, Sarah looked incredible in a strapless wedding gown made of delicate fabric. The dress hugged her silhouette, accentuating her natural beauty and radiance.
Each step Sarah took was met with admiring gazes from loved ones, and Stuart couldn’t keep his eyes off his beautiful bride.
Sarah and Stuart exchanged their marriage vows, filling the church with so much love that everyone was beaming with happiness for the newlyweds.
The happy couple were met with warm embraces and heartfelt smiles as family and friends shared their congratulations and best wishes for their future together.
Everyone then headed to The Royal Burgess Golf Club, where the celebrations continued.
We adored capturing Sarah and Stuart’s newlywed photoshoot; they’re just the perfect match, with love like no other. Photographing the sweet, precious moments with these lovebirds was a joy.
Piped into a room brimming with their beloved family and friends, the evening was filled with joy and laughter as funny and heartfelt speeches kicked off an evening of celebration and dancing the night away.
We loved every minute of Sarah and Stuart’s wonderful wedding.
We couldn’t have asked for a more lovely couple. They were so relaxed and at ease, which made the day all the more lovely to photograph.
We’d love to hear from you if you are considering a Cramond Kirk wedding!
