We had the best time shooting wedding photos at Edinburgh City Chambers Registry Office for Sara and Carl, a lovely couple who eloped from Manchester.

Edinburgh City Chambers is a beautiful historic building on the Royal Mile right in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

We eloped to Edinburgh and decided on having our special day filmed and photographed. We do not regret it! The day flew by and we get to relive it because of Jonathan and Claire! My husband is a huge introvert and didn't want cameras etc but Jonathan and Claire are so calm, skilled, experienced, they worked so incredibly well in the background and also when we went off for our mini shoot. They guided us as we had no idea! They were friendly and kind and we were at total ease in their company. We cannot thank you enough for the memories you have captured for us. Our wedding film was so emotional to watch back and was wonderfully edited, we just couldn't believe the end result! Thank you so very very very much! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you both and if anyone isn't sure about having their day filmed just do it! You won't regret it and you won't regret having Jonathan and Claire. Accompanied by their four children and close friends as witnesses, Sara and Carl chose the city of Edinburgh as the perfect location to celebrate their love in a setting of romance and elegance.

Sara looked beautiful in her long white dress and statement earrings as she walked down the aisle towards Carl. 

Sara and Carl’s marriage ceremony was perfect. Officiated by Ann Burnett, it was intimate, personal, heartfelt, and warming; their family and friends performed beautiful readings. 

It was wonderful to document the happiness of two people in love tying the knot.

After the ceremony, congratulations and a few group photos were outside the venue’s entrance.

The happy couple were taken around Edinburgh’s charming Old Town for their newlywed photoshoot.

As we wandered around the cobbled streets together, there was no shortage of opportunities to capture beautiful photos of tender moments and beaming smiles between the newlyweds. 

We adored the moment Sara and Carl shared a kiss on the steps at the back of St Giles Cathedral. Sara’s wedding dress, with its daring side split, was perfect for catching the romantic shot.

Each photo tells a story of love, family, and the decision to celebrate in a way that felt true to Sara and Carl.

A pure celebration of love, it marked the joyful commencement of a new chapter in Sara and Carl’s lives, one that we were honoured to be a part of.
