As experienced Edinburgh wedding photographers, we’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of weddings across Scotland.

Ramita and Andrei chose the iconic setting of Edinburgh City Chambers for an intimate and elegant wedding ceremony.

Ramita looked beautiful in a coral pink dress with an elegant crystal-embellished shall.

They exchanged their ‘I do’s’ in a civil ceremony surrounded by their closest family members, all there to celebrate their love and union.

One of the best parts of a City Chambers wedding is its central location, in the heart of Edinburgh’s historic Old Town.

We took a short stroll with the newlyweds, over the Royal Mile through the Old Town, pausing for some candid shots with Edinburgh’s historic charm as a backdrop—cobbled streets and traditional architecture made it the perfect setting for photographing their sweet love.

Then, we went to Princes Street Gardens, where we enjoyed their newlywed photoshoot with the majestic Edinburgh Castle towering above.

As wedding photographers, it is a dream location—the contrast of the garden’s soft romance against the dramatic presence of the castle makes every shot feel cinematic, timeless, and uniquely Edinburgh.

We loved the shots of Ramita and Andrei taken at The Mound with Edinburgh’s famous skyline in the background.

They were so natural in front of the camera and looked utterly in love as they shared a quiet embrace, a stolen kiss and even a little twirl as they soaked in the day’s excitement.

There’s an effortless beauty in how the newlyweds move, lost in their own little world, while the city hums softly around them. This makes for wedding portraits that are as unforgettable as the love story they represent.

After photographing all the sweet moments between Ramita and Andrei in the city’s heart, it was time to head to The Scotsman Hotel. This venue perfectly balances old-world luxury with modern sophistication.

Once the former home of The Scotsman newspaper, the hotel is now one of Edinburgh’s most stylish wedding venues, offering breathtaking views over the city and an atmosphere of pure romance.

Champagne in hand, the happy couple made their way to The Fettercairn Suite, which had soft candlelight and a warm, intimate ambience that set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

It was excellent to see the newlyweds and their guests mingle and have fun as we shot candid and relaxed The Scotsman Hotel wedding photos.

One of our favourite moments of Ramita and Andrei’s special day was shooting photos of them on the iconic marble staircase, the grandeur and romance, creating dreamy, portraits that feel effortlessly elegant.

Stepping outside with the newlyweds for fresh air, the hotel’s entrance, beautifully decorated with lush flowers and greenery, is always an ideal spot for photos.

As our day ended, we couldn’t help but smile knowing that we had a day full of love, elegance, and unforgettable moments, creating wonderful The Scotsman Hotel wedding photos that can be cherished forever.

Edinburgh weddings are always special to us, but this one—set in the heart of the city in two of its most iconic venues—was truly one for the books.
