Rosebery Steading wedding photos of Gillian and Nick’s summer celebration

We were honoured to be the Rosebery Steading wedding photographer for Gillian and Nick’s beautiful celebration of love, family, and tradition.

The couple chose the picturesque setting of Rosebery Steading in the heart of the Midlothian countryside, a beautiful contrast from the hustle and bustle usually experienced as a candid wedding photographer!

The 18th-century steading conversion, with its rustic charm and stunning natural surroundings, provided the perfect backdrop for their special day.

Today marks 4 years since me and my husband married. I’m ashamed to say I forgot to leave a review sooner. Jonathon and Claire done an amazing job with photography and videography on our wedding day. Neither of us felt comfortable in front of a camera but were made to feel so relaxed that we got exactly the candid photos we hoped for. Our only regret is not having them there for the full day! Thanks again for beautifully capturing such precious moments.

Regarding wedding photos, being a Rosebery Steading wedding photographer is a dream. The stone walls, wooden beams, and rolling hills provide a stunning backdrop for unique and timeless shots.

The surrounding fields burst into life during the summer, offering vibrant greenery, golden light, and picture-perfect settings.

At Rosebery Steading, weddings are more than just an event—they’re an experience brimming with love, laughter, and beauty. It’s the kind of place where memories are made and captured in the most enchanting way.

Our day as Rosebery Steading wedding photographer began with Gillian and her bridesmaids preparing for the wedding ceremony in the luxurious accommodation.

The girls were full of fun and hilarity as excitement grew for the day ahead.

Groom Nick and his groomsmen were preparing for the big day at Rosebery House.

Nick and his best men looked dapper in their kilt attire from McCalls Highland Wear.

The marriage ceremony was held in the beautiful surroundings of Rosebery Chapel and led by Minister Gilmour Callander.

Gillian walked down the aisle with her father; she looked sensational in her stunning Suzanne Neville gown.

Gillian and Nick exchanged marriage vows before their loved ones, pledging to love and cherish each other for the rest of their lives.

It was beautiful to capture their love and all the happiness that filled the chapel as they became husband and wife.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a fabulous champagne drinks reception in the sun-soaked courtyard.

As the newlyweds mingled with guests, we blended into the background, capturing beautiful photographs of candid moments full of love, laughter and happiness.

After a small selection of group photos, Gillian and Nick enjoyed their newlywed photoshoot around the private grounds.

Manicured gardens and tranquil surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for fabulous photos.

Evening celebrations began with hilarious and heartfelt speeches and a delicious wedding breakfast.

The newlyweds cut their wedding cake to the sound of guests cheering and clapping, then took to the dance floor for their intimate first dance.

Everyone watched as the newlyweds swayed to the music, lost in their own little world.

It was the perfect ending to a magical day as Gillian and Nick’s Rosebery Steading wedding photographer.
