We had the best time as Gemma and Ross’ Netherbyres House wedding photographer in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Netherbyers House is a quintessential manor house located on the outskirts of Eyemouth, only one hour’s drive from Edinburgh.

The stylish, exclusive-use house hosted Gemma and Ross’ glorious day, and it was utterly perfect with its laid-back feel, bold interiors, and perfect styling.

Jonathon and Claire are the loviest couple.. from our very first communication they made us feel special and were so interested in who we are as people! They tailored everything just for us, and had they not radiated such beauty and kindness, we wouldn’t have even known they were there… and for two people like us who HATE getting photos taken, we had a great time and felt so comfortable!

We got married on 31st December, and they gave up their own celebrations with their families to help us capture ours...

We truly hit the jackpot, and wouldn’t ever trust anyone else to capture our special celebrations and moments!

Please don’t pass up the opportunity on having these two look after your special day! Very trustworthy and fantastic value for money.

Netherbyres House Wedding Photos

A few of our favourite Netherbyres House wedding photos are shared here:

Nestled in the charming seaside town of Eyemouth, Netherbyres House is a historical gem with a modern twist, making it a magical wedding venue.

Built in 1865, this Victorian mansion has been lovingly restored, blending its period features with vibrant, contemporary design.

Its rich history is evident in every corner, from the grand staircase and intricate cornicing to the original fireplaces that add a touch of timeless elegance.

The house was once a family home before transforming into a boutique wedding venue, offering couples the perfect mix of heritage and style.

The interiors boast bold colours, luxurious furnishings, and quirky details, creating a unique and Instagram-worthy backdrop.

Each room tells its own story, adding character and charm to your wedding day.

Surrounded by lush, manicured gardens, Netherbyres offers endless opportunities for stunning wedding photos.

Imagine romantic portraits beneath towering trees, golden-hour shots on the sweeping lawns, or candid moments captured against the striking facade of the house itself.

The gardens change with the seasons, ensuring a beautiful setting all year round.

The house’s large sash windows flood the rooms with natural light for intimate indoor photos, perfect for creating soft, dreamy images.

Whether it’s the laughter of getting ready in the vibrant bridal suite or romantic couple’s shots in the elegant Drawing Room, every moment is a photo opportunity.

Netherbyres House combines historic charm, contemporary flair, and picturesque surroundings, making it an unforgettable wedding venue perfect for stunning photography.

Our day of shooting Netherbyres House wedding photos of this lovely couple began shortly before the ceremony with shots of the groom, Ross, and his groomsmen having fun and banter.

Ross was hilarious, such a lovely guy and full of fun; we knew it would be a wonderful day.

The beautiful bride, Gemma, entered the Grand Hall and walked down the aisle to Ross with her proud Dad.

There was laughter and happy tears as Gemma and Ross tied the knot and were married in a humanist ceremony led by Linda Stewart.

That first kiss as husband and wife had their friends and family clapping and cheering their congratulations; such precious memories to last a lifetime.

Outside, the newlyweds were showered with confetti, one of the happiest, joyous moments. We love a confetti photo; look at those smiles!

We adored capturing Gemma and Ross during their newlywed photoshoot. Their joy was palpable, and they were an absolute dream to photograph as we used the stunning grounds Netherbyres has to offer.

We giggled with these lovebirds; their love and connection for each other were palpable and infectious.

A gorgeous summer evening of celebration followed, with the newlyweds mingling with their guests as they enjoyed drinks on the lawn.

Hilarious and heartfelt speeches in the marquee made all the guests laugh as love and happiness filled the air.

Gemma and Ross started the party with their first dance over in the Grand Hall.

It was great to see everyone have so much fun, like one fabulous house party. We were sad to say goodbye after such a great day shooting beautiful wedding photos!

We’d love to chat with you if you are getting married and looking for an award-winning Netherbyres House wedding photographer!
