Do I really need two Videographers? Will it feel intrusive?
Why do we include two videographers? This is one of the most common questions we get! We include two videographers as standard because it completely transforms your day’s coverage without making it feel “paparazzi-style.” In fact, having two of us makes the day run more smoothly. Here is why:
Both Sides of the Story: In the morning, we can be in two places at once. One of us captures the bridal prep details, while the other captures the groom and groomsmen (or second partner) getting ready. You don’t have to choose whose morning gets documented.
The “Reaction” Shot: During the ceremony, one videographer focuses on the person walking down the aisle, while the second videographer captures the partner’s emotional reaction at the altar. A solo videographer cannot get both of these split-second moments perfectly.
More Candids, Less Waiting: While one of us is filming you during your formal family group and newlywed shots, the other is roaming the reception, capturing your guests laughing, drinking, and having fun. You get the necessary formal shots plus all the natural, candid moments you missed while you were busy.
Efficiency: We work as a team to capture your shots quickly and professionally, so you hardly notice us on the day and can enjoy your champagne with your guests.
What is the difference between the “Feature Film” and “Highlights Edit”?
Every package includes the Feature Film (a documentary edit including your full ceremony and speeches). The Highlights Edit (£495 upgrade) is a cinematic, fast-paced music-video-style montage of the best moments, perfect for social media.
Do you travel outside of Edinburgh?
Yes! We cover weddings across Scotland, including the Borders, Fife, and the Highlands. Travel costs may apply depending on the distance.
Are travel costs included?
Yes! For all weddings in Edinburgh and the Lothians, travel is included in the wedding video prices. If you are getting married further afield in Scotland or the North of England, we charge a simple flat rate agreed upon upfront.
Do you offer custom packages for micro-weddings?
Absolutely. If our wedding video prices don’t fit your plans (e.g., you have a 3-hour elopement on a Wednesday), just let us know. We are happy to create a bespoke quote for you.
