About Claire and Jonathon
Photographing Edinburgh weddings since 2006, we’ve had the privilege of capturing the magic of over 700 weddings, creating heartfelt images that stand the test of time.

We want to make finding prices as easy as possible. (Isn’t it annoying how some suppliers make you jump through hoops to see their prices?).
Our wedding photographer prices can be customised to your requirements.
Allow Jonathon to photograph your intimate elopement, or Claire and Jonathon can work seamlessly together, capturing all the details, love, and joy of your entire day.
Off-peak/small celebrations and elopements are priced hourly and are provided upon request by contacting us here.
Note regarding Value Added Tax (VAT)
Our prices are competitive, partly because we don’t charge you VAT, which is currently set at 20%.
This means we can charge less than some of our fellow photographers and videographers, who are required by law to include the extra 20% VAT in their pricing.
By working with us you’re getting fantastic photography and videography without paying the additional 20% tax.

Pre-wedding day ‘engagement’ photoshoot £350
Your images are an incredible investment that becomes more precious with time. But these images can only tell part of your unique love story.
Our engagement photoshoot provides beautiful pictures that remind you of the good times preceding the wedding day and serve as an ‘opening chapter’ to the rest of your life together.
Investment in a pre-wedding shoot is just £350.
The photo session can occur at many locations across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
We recommend doing the session approximately eight weeks before your big day, and it can take place any day of the week.
If you have pets or children, you can bring them to the session, too!
Luxury wedding albums
Have your favourite pictures displayed in one of our unique, award-winning luxury albums.
You choose the pictures we use to design your album (see our guide on choosing photos for your album) to ensure it is tailored to your preferences.
Once you approve the design, the album is printed and hand-finished in Scotland.
Locally sourced albums printed in Scotland are better for the environment and ensure industry-leading turnaround times of just ten days.

You can add an album at the time of booking or after your big day once you’ve had a chance to view your pictures.
Thank-you cards – personalised luxury greeting cards
Choose a favourite photo to print on each card’s face.
These luxury cards have a blank space for your message, are available in various sizes, and come with envelopes.
Delivery to any UK address is fast, usually less than five working days.

How would you describe the style of your photos?
Discreet and relaxed, mainly combining natural/candid ‘documentary style’ photos of most of the day along with a few classic and captivating ‘wow-factor’ pictures of the newlyweds
Describe your approach to photographing people.
We are relaxed, friendly, professional, and fast, blending seamlessly into the background, taking shots of your event as it unfolds. Sometimes, we take a more ‘hands-on’ approach, offering gentle direction to ensure the pictures are taken quickly and smoothly.
What do you think distinguishes your work from other photographers?
We create timeless, natural, and unique photos, avoiding the use of ‘fashionable’ editing techniques and software/Instagram-style filters that can quickly look dated. Instead, we focus on clean, colourful, and natural pictures that will stand the test of time.
How far will you travel to photograph an event? I’m looking for a shooter who travels across Scotland. Can you help?
Yes, we’ll travel anywhere in Scotland and the North of England to photograph a couple getting married! We mainly cover events in the Lothian region but regularly travel the length and breadth of Scotland. Travel and overnight accommodation costs may apply if your event is taking place far from Edinburgh.
When will we receive our images?
During the off-peak season, January – February, your shots can be ready to view online in about a week. For events during the busier summer and Christmas seasons, we usually have the gallery ready to see by your first month’s anniversary. Occasionally, more time may be necessary if we’ve been particularly busy or on holiday. We will update you shortly after your wedding so you know when to expect your images.
