Sherbrooke Castle Hotel wedding photos
Here is a selection of our favourite Emma and James’ Sherbrooke Castle Hotel wedding photos.
Having previously photographed Emma’s sister Alison’s wedding, Emma contacted us and said how she loved the style of the photos we took.
We were delighted to be available on Emma and James’ big day in Glasgow.
Some weddings have that extra sparkle—where love, laughter, and joy fill every moment.
This beautiful wedding at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel was one of those days.
From the moment we arrived at Emma and James’ house for bridal preparations, we could feel the excitement and knew it would be a truly special celebration.
The morning of the wedding is always such a special time, and Emma’s was perfect as she and her lovely bridesmaids, Alison and Danielle, got ready together.
The room was bathed in natural light, perfect for photographing those happy, candid moments between the girls.
A short journey later, we arrived at Sherbrooke Castle Hotel, a magnificent baronial-style venue crafted in rich red sandstone.
A gem of a venue, nestled within its own private gardens, Sherbrooke Castle Hotel is the perfect blend of romance, elegance, and grandeur—an absolute dream for taking amazing wedding photos.
With its stunning architecture and lush surroundings, this enchanting venue provides a breathtaking backdrop for those once-in-a-lifetime moments.
James and his groomsmen looked great in their kilt outfits as we photographed the group’s natural energy—from classic portraits to relaxed walking shots.
James was beaming with happiness and couldn’t wait to see his beautiful bride.
Emma and James’ civil ceremony took place in the Orangery, a bright and elegant space filled with natural light.
The room was decorated beautifully, with soft pink flower arrangements framing the couple as they exchanged their meaningful vows.
Emma looked stunning in a beautiful Madi Lane couture gown while walking down the aisle with her dad.
These moments make shooting Sherbrooke Castle Hotel wedding photos truly rewarding.
After exchanging heartfelt vows and placing rings, the couple sealed their love with a kiss, which was met with cheers and applause from their family and friends.
The joy was infectious and an absolute delight to photograph. As they walked down the aisle, radiating utter happiness, it was clear they were soaking in every second of their incredible day!
After family and group photos, we took Emma and James for their newlywed photoshoot on the venue’s grounds, which provided the perfect backdrop for beautiful portraits.
They looked amazing together and so much in love!

An evening of wonderful celebration followed, with the newlyweds piped into the reception room and performing their first duty of cutting the cake.
The speeches were heartfelt and funny, the perfect balance to photograph great reaction shots.
One of our favourite parts of the day to photograph is when the formalities fade away, and the joy of celebration takes over.
From Emma and James’ romantic first dance, where they get lost in the music, to the guests enthusiastically joining in, there’s never a dull moment to photograph, and we love those candid, unscripted shots.
Then there’s the ceilidh dancing, absolute chaos in the best way possible, with guests spinning, the laughter getting louder, and every moment bursting with energy!
Telling Emma and James’ love story was an absolute joy, filled with precious moments of love, fun, and connection which allowed us to create beautiful Sherbrooke Castle Hotel wedding photos that, years later, will transport our lovely couple right back to their incredible day with their favourite people.
