They discovered a shared dream of exchanging vows in an enchanting place, so they travelled from their hometown in the States to the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland to celebrate their love at St Anthony’s Chapel in Edinburgh.

St Anthony’s Chapel, a ruin of an ancient castle, stands proudly on a rocky outcrop of Arthur Seat, high above St Margaret’s Loch.

St Anthony’s Chapel’s location offers breathtaking views across Edinburgh, Leith, and the Firth of Forth, a sight that left Glenda and John in awe.

Surrounded by Holyrood Park’s breathtaking natural beauty, it provides a grand and isolated setting, creating a sense of awe and historic charm for your wedding.

Glenda and John sought to rekindle the magic of their commitment by exchanging heartfelt and personal vows in a beautiful ceremony perfectly delivered by Annalese McDermott of Humanist Society Scotland.

Photographing Glenda and John’s intimate celebration was a joy. They were laid-back, content and happy in each other’s company, and their love was profound.

The ancient stone ruins were silent witnesses to their love and commitment as they reaffirmed their bond and a celebration of their journey.

After their ceremony, we took the happy couple on a beautiful photoshoot around some of our favourite photography locations in the historic Old Town.

As they walked, held hands and shared a gentle kiss, we photographed all the emotions of their sweet moments together, creating a gallery of timeless photos that authentically capture the love they share.

We had the best time with Glenda and John, who are head over heels in love! We wish them the best for a happy life together and hope they will cherish the precious memories they created and those they entrusted us to photograph in Scotland.
