I recently had the privilege of being Anette and William’s Bonham Hotel wedding photographer.

Shooting candid wedding photography at Anette and William’s wedding day was a truly international occasion. Shooting The Bonham wedding photography, Edinburgh, was a lot of fun!

Family and friends had travelled from across the globe to witness and celebrate the marriage of this wonderful couple at a fantastic, intimate wedding venue in Edinburgh.

Bonham Hotel Wedding Photographer 5-Star Reviews

Choose us as your Bonham Hotel wedding photographer, and we’ll provide outstanding photos and award-winning service. But don’t just take our word for it:

Jonathon and Claire are the loviest couple.. from our very first communication they made us feel special and were so interested in who we are as people! They tailored everything just for us, and had they not radiated such beauty and kindness, we wouldn’t have even known they were there… and for two people like us who HATE getting photos taken, we had a great time and felt so comfortable!

We got married on 31st December, and they gave up their own celebrations with their families to help us capture ours...

We truly hit the jackpot, and wouldn’t ever trust anyone else to capture our special celebrations and moments!

Please don’t pass up the opportunity on having these two look after your special day! Very trustworthy and fantastic value for money.

From the very beginning, Jonathon and Claire made us feel comfortable and supported. Their professionalism and creativity shone through in every shot, and they even did a special edit for us at no extra charge, which was truly above and beyond. Below, I am delighted to share a selection of my favourite Bonham Hotel wedding photos of Anette and William’s fantastic day.

As an experienced Bonham Hotel wedding photographer, capturing photos in this beautiful wedding venue in the centre of Edinburgh is pure joy.

Nestled in the heart of the city’s West End, this boutique venue blends timeless elegance with contemporary charm, making it a dream backdrop for wedding photography.

Every corner of The Bonham exudes sophistication, offering endless opportunities to craft stunning, romantic images of newlyweds.

The grand façade and tree-lined street create a refined, cinematic setting for those all-important arrival shots.

Step inside, and the interiors are just as enchanting.

The Bonham Hotel oozes character with its high ceilings, sweeping staircase, and intricate period details.

The natural light streaming through its large windows is a photographer’s delight, illuminating the rooms with a soft, flattering glow.

Whether candid moments in the cosy lounge or posed shots in front of the statement fireplace, the hotel provides a perfect canvas for capturing timeless memories.

What makes The Bonham genuinely magical is its blend of intimacy and grandeur.

For couples, every space feels personal yet sophisticated.

The quiet streets and nearby gardens offer serene spots for romantic portraits.

Edinburgh’s iconic skyline and charm are just steps away, so capturing couples against landmarks like Dean Village or the cityscape adds a unique flair to their wedding story.

The team at The Bonham Hotel is equally exceptional, ensuring every detail is seamless and couples are relaxed.

This makes photographing the day a joy as genuine emotions and beautiful moments naturally unfold.

As a regular Bonham Hotel wedding photographer, working in such a stylish, characterful venue is a privilege.

From emotional getting-ready shots to golden-hour portraits, The Bonham offers a rich tapestry of settings to create breathtaking imagery.

For any couple dreaming of a city wedding infused with elegance and magic, this venue—and the memories it inspires—will never disappoint.

I began the day by shooting Bonham Hotel wedding photos and photographing guests’ arrivals.

Groom Will looked relaxed and was in good humour as we photographed him in the streets around the hotel.

Anette is Norwegian and wore a traditional Norwegian outfit for her wedding ceremony.

Anette and her mum looked fantastic in their costumes, which was a nice personal touch for the wedding.

The wedding ceremony was wonderful, intimate, personal and a pleasure to photograph.

After the ceremony, I captured candid photos of family and friends congratulating our newlyweds.

Sadly, it did rain for a while on the day; however, beautiful Drumsheugh Gardens was available to shoot a few family and newlywed photos before the heavens opened.

This oasis of greenery was the perfect location to shoot a few newlywed photos of Anette and William.

My coverage of this amazing wedding day ended with everyone dancing and having a ball in the evening.

Anette and William looked blissfully happy throughout their wedding day at The Bonham Hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed being their Bonham Hotel wedding photographer.

I’ve captured what made their day so special in these wedding photos.

I wholeheartedly recommend this excellent hotel for your wedding in Edinburgh.
