Isle of Skye Wedding Videographer – See Our Fabulous Video Including Drone

As Alanna and Brianna’s Isle of Skye wedding videographer, we’ve taken the ‘best bits’ of their feature-length video and created this shorter ‘highlights video’.

Our newlyweds specially chose the music used as a backing track in the video.

We’d love to work with you as your Isle of Skye wedding videographer and guarantee you outstanding service and a fabulous video of your day, but don’t just take our word for it:

Jonathon and Claire are the loviest couple.. from our very first communication they made us feel special and were so interested in who we are as people! They tailored everything just for us, and had they not radiated such beauty and kindness, we wouldn’t have even known they were there… and for two people like us who HATE getting photos taken, we had a great time and felt so comfortable!

We got married on 31st December, and they gave up their own celebrations with their families to help us capture ours...

We truly hit the jackpot, and wouldn’t ever trust anyone else to capture our special celebrations and moments!

Please don’t pass up the opportunity on having these two look after your special day! Very trustworthy and fantastic value for money.

Their professionalism and creativity shone through in every shot, and they even did a special edit for us at no extra charge, which was truly above and beyond. Isle of Skye Elopement Video – Brianna and Alanna’s Short Film Including Drone

Elopement to Scotland – Our Day As Isle of Skye Wedding Videographer

Our lovely couple embarked on a remarkable journey from Wisconsin, USA, to the enchanting Inner Hebrides for their intimate elopement. It was a lovely change of scene from our usual Edinburgh wedding videographer role when they invited us to be their Isle of Skye wedding videographers to film their day.

The day unfolded beautifully, a testament to their powerful commitment, transcending mere air miles.

Willowbank Cottage in Broadford served as the tranquil setting for the preparations.

Amidst the calm and relaxed atmosphere, Mimosa cocktails flowed as Jonathon and I worked as videographers and photographers, capturing the magic on camera.

The emotional peak came during the “first look” in Willowbank Cottage’s garden, where Brianna beheld Alanna in her breathtaking dress.

With hugs and kisses exchanged, everyone set off for the ceremony at the awe-inspiring Quiraing, a location carefully chosen by the couple during an earlier exploration.

Unlike conventional choices such as the Fairy Glen, the Quiraing offered a unique, less-trodden path with sublime views and ample parking.

The Quiraing, on the Isle of Skye, is a breathtaking wonder of rugged beauty, making it an unforgettable location for an elopement wedding.

This iconic landscape features dramatic cliffs, sweeping valleys, and surreal rock formations that seem straight out of a fantasy novel.

Whether shrouded in mist or basking in golden sunlight, the Quiraing offers a moody, magical ambience perfect for intimate ceremonies.

Couples can exchange vows atop the rolling hills with panoramic views of the Trotternish Ridge, the sea, and the surrounding islands as a stunning backdrop.

This remote spot’s raw, untamed beauty creates an unparalleled sense of adventure and romance.

Ideal for nature-loving couples, the Quiraing provides endless photo opportunities, from jagged peaks to hidden trails. Its secluded location ensures a quiet, meaningful experience, making it the ultimate choice for an unforgettable elopement in Scotland’s wild heart.

Our couple embraced the opportunity for something distinct, eschewing popular ceremony spots, making for a unique Isle of Skye wedding video.

Away from the usual tourist haunts, the girls embraced the Quiraing’s extraordinary landscapes.

The backdrop was nothing short of imposing and inspiring. In a heartfelt humanist ceremony, our newlyweds celebrated their love amidst the jaw-dropping scenery of Trotternish.

The Quiraing, a breathtaking landslip on Skye’s eastern face, offered a space to exist, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

The ancient Celtic handfasting tradition symbolised their union in a spot on a rugged hilltop that felt magical.

As Isle of Skye wedding videographers, we filmed the girls, best friends and soulmates, become one — a truly remarkable sight.

Our newlyweds’ modern love story, blossoming over three years from an online meeting, culminated in this celebration.

The Quaich, a vessel symbolising love and trust, held a sweet whisky liquor that the newlyweds sipped as their first drink.

Amidst hugs, kisses, and congratulations, the newlyweds posed for group photos before heading to the Uig Hotel for refreshments.

Taking advantage of the glorious scenery for this Isle of Skye wedding videography, Jonathon and I shot some drone footage of the newlyweds.

This day of filming as videographers, filled with emotion, laughter, and breathtaking landscapes, was a testament to this unique love story — a pleasure to capture as their destination videographer.

Congratulations to the lovely girls on this extraordinary chapter in their lives.
