The Parsonage at Dunmore Park wedding photographer images
We are delighted to share with you a few of our favourite photos created when Heather and Michael’s The Parsonage at Dunmore Park wedding photographer.
The Parsonage at Dunmore Park is an impressive mansion house in a picturesque location less than one hour from Edinburgh and Glasgow.
We started the day with Heather and the girls, photographing the bridal party preparations.
Heather and her bride squad, maids of honour Lindsay and Aileen, and bridesmaids Azaria and Amber were happy and relaxed.
They took selfies, clinked glasses for their Instagram stories and toasted the special day.
It was clear our beautiful bride Heather had everything under control.
And by everything, we mean everything.
We found out Heather, who has a career in project managing, had Excel spreadsheets covering every detail of the wedding day.
Some of these spreadsheets were created on the return flight home from New York, where Michael had proposed!
Jonathon spent time with groom Michael and the boys, best man brother Lee and groomsmen Scott and Blair, who were also getting ready in the house.
Once they were kilted up and looking very smart, Jonathon took Michael and the boys outside for a few pre-ceremony photos on the beautiful grounds of The Parsonage.
What an entrance our beautiful bride made as she walked down the aisle with her proud Dad.
Heather looked stunning in her exquisite wedding dress designed by Liliana Dabic of La Novia.
Her hair, styled in soft curls, had been beautifully pinned in an updo by hairstylist Lauren McMonagle, The Loft Bridal Hair and fabulously soft, glowing make-up by makeup artist Jenny Tanner.
Heather and Michael’s Humanist ceremony was probably one of the funniest and most engaging ceremonies we have photographed.
Conducted by Maureen Kettle of Humanist Society Scotland, it was an endearing celebration of their love.
Guests laughed and cried as the celebrant told heartwarming tales about Heather and Michael’s relationship and how they fell in love.
To be precise, Heather and Michael had been together for 3,046 days on their wedding day!
The expansive outside terrace at The Parsonage at Dunmore Park was the ideal location for guests to congratulate our newlyweds and enjoy the champagne reception.
The private grounds and wooded parkland made the perfect backdrop to capture group photos and our adorable couple’s more intimate newlywed photos.
Guests enjoyed Luca’s ice cream served from the retro ice cream van.
Our bride and groom’s sweet treat was served in their favourite peanut butter and jaffa cake flavours and topped with a special personalised wafer.
The glamorous Pavilions at The Parsonage hosted the celebratory wedding breakfast and the evening reception.
The Pavilions marquee was given a soft pink palette, filled with beautiful fresh flowers by Irene’s Florist and scented with peony blush candles.
Tables were named after some of our happy couple and their dog Murphy’s favourite places.
We loved all these special touches that made Heather and Michael’s wedding unique.
Guests went wild as the newlyweds made their grand entrance to the top table.
There were some lovely, heartfelt and poignant words from Heather’s Dad, our beautiful bride and Michael, who needed a little Dutch courage in the form of a Jägerbomb shot!
And last, but by no means least, Michael’s brother, who provided everyone with lots of laughs!
After a delicious wedding breakfast, Heather and Michael greeted all their evening guests.
Guests offered warm congratulations as they hugged and kissed our bride and groom.
Coverage of this amazing day ended as our newlyweds made their way to the starlit dance floor.
They cut their beautiful three-tiered hexagon-shaped wedding cake and embraced during their first dance as newlyweds.
Thank you for all the fun and laughter.
We had such a great time!
