Shooting Iain and Louise’s Royal Scots Club Edinburgh wedding photos was an honour.
Coverage of this beautiful wedding day began with the groom and guests’ arrival at the impressive St. Cuthbert’s RC Church on Slateford Road in Edinburgh.
The interior of this church is beautiful, with lots of natural light, just perfect for photos.

It’s a pleasure to share the story of Iain and Louise’s Royal Scots Club Edinburgh wedding, which is told in the following photos.
Iain and Louise arrived in a lovely old Volkswagen Camper Van at the church.
There was no sign of nerves from either Iain or Louise.
From our previous meeting at our pre-wedding day photoshoot in Queen Street Gardens, I felt they would be relaxed and just a wee bit excited.
Church ceremonies can sometimes be a bit formal. However, the Priest conducting today’s ceremony was a real character, bringing warmth and humour to the proceedings.
One highlight of the wedding ceremony was the fantastic choir who sang during the hymns and the signing of the marriage schedule.
After the wedding ceremony and a few minutes of congratulations from family and friends, the newlyweds departed for their wedding reception at The Royal Scots Club.
This beautiful venue is located in Edinburgh’s historic New Town.
It is created by merging magnificent old townhouses to create a gorgeous and spacious building to hold a wedding reception.
A big bonus of booking The Royal Scots Club Edinburgh wedding venue is that you can access the beautiful Queen Street Gardens directly opposite.
This oasis in the heart of the bustling city is a photographer’s dream.
With lots of green space, it’s the perfect location for group and newlywed photos.
Iain and Louise looked deliriously happy while I photographed them in the gardens.
They were great in front of the camera and a pleasure to photograph.
The remainder of the day was spent back at The Royal Scots Club.
I loved the speeches. Plenty of laughter and heartfelt thanks.
I enjoy photographing people’s emotions and reactions at a wedding.
The newlyweds cut their wedding cake in the evening before taking to the dance floor for their first dance.
It is a brilliant end to a beautiful wedding day.
