Claire and Kenny were getting married and invited us to be their wedding photographer at the George Hotel.
Their wedding occurred on a beautiful sunny March Saturday, tempered with bitterly cold snow showers.

Wedding ceremony at Juniper Green Parish Church
Jonathon and I started our day by taking candid shots of guests arriving at picturesque Juniper Green Parish Church.
Kenny, his Best Man and Ushers looked very smart in their kilts as they warmly greeted family and friends into the church to take their seats.
Next to arrive at Juniper Green Parish Church was Claire’s Mum and her six bridesmaids.
The girls all looked fantastic.
The bridesmaids wore matching pink flowing dresses with love heart necklines and carried simple, elegant bouquets filled with white roses.
It was an ideal opportunity to get some fabulous group shots of the bridesmaids and pretty flower girl outside the front of the church.
Candid photos were taken of the wedding party in the church lobby as the girls waited for the bride, Claire, to arrive.
The air was full of excitement as the Beauford classic silver wedding car pulled up outside Juniper Green Parish Church.
Passers-by tried to catch a glimpse of the beautiful bride. Claire looked effortlessly beautiful in her figure-hugging white gown with lace and crystal detailing.
Arm in arm with her Dad, Claire made her way up the steps to the entrance of the church.
George Hotel wedding reception
Claire and Kenny tied the knot with a traditional Church of Scotland wedding ceremony.
A few photographs of the newlyweds at the church altar before departing for their Edinburgh George Hotel wedding reception were taken.
Queen Street Gardens newlywed photos
We’ve photographed many weddings at this fantastic city centre hotel and were excited to be back again.
Claire and Kenny had newlywed photographs taken on the beautiful private grounds of Queen Street Gardens, whilst their wedding guests enjoyed a champagne drinks reception at the hotel.
As a true gent, Kenny gave his suit jacket to his new wife, Claire, as they strolled hand in hand through the beautifully manicured gardens.
Romantic shots of the couple captured this special time they shared being alone on their wedding day.
Speeches and evening celebrations in the King’s Hall
At the hotel, guests went to the grand King’s Hall, which had been beautifully decorated and set for the wedding breakfast and reception.
Pink silk bows on the back of chairs, silver candelabras on each table, flutes filled to the brim with rose champagne, a dram for the piper and activity packs for Claire and Kenny’s younger guests added those special finishing touches that made their day unique.
Hilarious speeches, cake cutting and ceilidh dancing then followed.
More newlywed photos were to come as Jonathon whisked Claire and Kenny away from their guests for one last photo opportunity on the rooftop terrace of The Forthview Suite.
The rooftop terrace boasts “panoramic views of the city, and the Firth of Forth” was the perfect setting to capture Claire and Kenny but with a twist.
An almost magical, fairytale sprinkling of snowflakes fell over Claire and Kenny, making this the perfect photo ending to a perfect day.
Congratulations, Claire and Kenny!
